Germany debuted in the first edition of Europa Song Contest.

History

NDR Confirmed their debut on 1st May 2017 with Oonagh and her song "Aulë und Yavanna". After it was revealed that Germany made it to the final the contry was said to perform first in the grand final. After the results were showed it was revealed that Germany Won with 156 points. NDR confirmed that the country would host upcoming edition.

NDR confirmed on 7th May and the artist Zedd and Julia Michaels were annouced 8th and 9th of may and the song "Daisy" was revealed 20th May
